Surveying Maruchan Episode 5
I'm not a fan of spicy food. That being said, Chili Ramen actually had a good flavor, despite its hotness. The temperature was just above a Spicy McChicken, however, the soup factor made it burn everything it touched, lips included. To the flavor packet, I bestow the accolade of Least Likely to Dissolve, as there were big particles at the bottom. I gagged thrice while drinking it (I'm a broth finisher). If you like coughing and choking down spicy broth, this Ramen is for you.

Surveying Maruchan Episode 4
Although the packaging says Rich Flavor, I taste nothing uniquely rich about Roast Beef Ramen's savor. I like how it mimics roast beef; the only disappointment is that it has the consistency of soup. This is to be expected, since it is less sandwich then soup. Sandwich as soup. Sandwich in soup. (Or both!) There is something antipathetic about liquid roast beef; i guess liquid roast beef was an alien in my youth, unlike liquid chicken.

Surveying Maruchan Episode 3
Today's topic is Creamy Chicken., and it is another variety with a name like Oriental -- never tasted an Oriental growing up. Never even saw a creamy chicken growing up. Turn's out to taste like a cream of chicken, a cream of corn... you get the idea: its milky. Its less salty than usual, so thats a plus because its important to watch your sodium levels.
Familiar bits of green floaties come standard. And if you use the right water source, you'll even enjoy a hint of chlorine. Overall, creamy chicken was a nice change, but I'll stick with chickeny chicken in the future, and keep my milky with my milkyways.
P.S. Midnight Milkyways are the best!

Surveying Maruchan Episode 2
There is nothing worse than missing free food. Today at Brigham Square, BYUSA gave away free pulled pork sandwhiches; I unfortunately work fulltime, and could not make it. And so I dedicate this blogpost to the unfortunate reader like me: 19 cents is the new free.
Pork ramen is full-flavored, bolstered by the agreeable flavor of my favorite meat. The sauce is piquant, and welcomes you back. (And every ramen packet conveniently comes in the perfect you-cant-eat-just-one size.) Pork irrefutably beats Oriental.

Surveying Maruchan Episode 1
I wasn't sure what to expect when the package read Oriental. It nonplussed me. In comparison, everyone understands Chicken or Beef, but Oriental? If you don't mind hot ginger ale over Ramen, this noodle is for you. Hey, I like variety in my diet.
